I spent a lot of time trying to find a way that I can update the network manager of gnome to support L2TP as a GUI so I can include it into the second version of Virtus Linux.<\/p>\n
to do that follow the steps \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

To do that on your Ubuntu -Debian<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– you need to add the repository<\/strong><\/p>\n sudo apt-add-repository ppa:seriy-pr\/network-manager-l2tp<\/p><\/blockquote>\n – Update the database of the application<\/strong><\/p>\n sudo apt-get update<\/p><\/blockquote>\n – Install the L2TP Plugin into gnome network manager<\/strong><\/p>\n sudo apt-get install network-manager-l2tp-gnome<\/p><\/blockquote>\n – Update the L2TP situation<\/strong><\/p>\n sudo update-rc.d xl2tpd disable<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Now go to the network manager \u2192 Edit connections \u2192 VPN \u2192 add \u2192VPN L2TP<\/p>\n Go ahead \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
