Installing ruining VPN L2TP on gnome Ubuntu

I spent a lot of time trying to find a way that I can update the network manager of gnome to support L2TP as a GUI so I can include it into the second version of Virtus Linux.

to do that follow the steps 🙂

To do that on your Ubuntu -Debian

– you need to add the repository

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:seriy-pr/network-manager-l2tp

– Update the database of the application

sudo apt-get update

– Install the L2TP Plugin into gnome network manager

sudo apt-get install network-manager-l2tp-gnome

– Update the L2TP situation

sudo update-rc.d xl2tpd disable

Now go to the network manager → Edit connections → VPN → add →VPN L2TP

Go ahead 🙂
